Money Donations

Food 4 Kiddos is always receptive to money donations. We can in most cases purchase the food items at a much lower rate than the general public due to partnerships with local businesses.

• Cash donations can be made in person. To arrange this please email us at food4kiddos@yahoo.com to schedule a time and location.
• Checks can be made out to Food 4 Kiddos and mailed to 4520 West Rolling Rock, Anthem, Arizona 85086.
• Credit card donations can be made through Paypal. On the home page there is a paypal link. Just click and follow the instructions.

Food Donations

Food 4 Kiddos is a simple operation. We collect food and give it away to kids. We need the food to make it happen and that is where you can help us. We are looking for individuals and groups to donate food through schools, churches, grocery stores, community centers, etc… The following is a list of possible food items. Keep in mind we can not give the children homemade items, perishable items, weighty items or anything requiring appliances.

• Microwavable soups / Easy Mac packages
• Granola Bars / Power Bars
• Plastic spoons / Plastic forks
• Juice boxes / Caprisun packs
• Plastic fruit cups / Fruit snacks
• Peanut butter crackers
• Cheese and beef sticks
• Individual boxes of cereal
• Pudding cups / Applesauce cups

Time Donations

The truth of the matter is that it takes time to collect food, bag the food, visit with community leaders, drop off the bags, develop a website, etc… We are always looking for people that want to offer their time and utilize their skills and talents. The following list provides some examples of how you could specifically “feed children and support schools.”

• Collector – This person drives to various locations in each community and collects all of the food that has been donated by the public at schools, churches, grocery stores and community centers.
• Purchaser – This person utilizes the monetary donations and purchases the food that is eventually placed in the bags.
• Bagger – This person takes the food and divides it out among a set number of bags in order for them to be delivered.
• Distributor – This person takes the completed food bags and delivers them to specific schools.
• Communicator – This person specializes in updating the webpage, contacting community leaders or developing the marketing department.
• Fundraiser – This person creates clever fundraising opportunities and then does them, with help of course. Are you creative? This is the place for you. We are open to almost any good idea that generates resources and aligns with our values as a non-profit organization.

Adopt-A-School

One of the most efficient ways to donate might involve having your family or church adopt one of the schools that we serve. This simply means that you agree to purchase the food, bag the food and distribute the food in accordance with the guideliness of the Food 4 Kiddos organization.
